A German company has unveiled the design of an all-carbon fiber new seven-seat vertical take-off and landing aircraft

   According to ainonline on November 19, 2018, JETcopter, a German startup vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft manufacturer, has completed the design of a seven-seat two-engine vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

 
  Made entirely of carbon fiber, the $350,000 aircraft can take off and land on highways with a maximum range of 620 nautical miles and a top speed of 186 MPH.The program puts two 400-horsepower piston engines on top of the aircraft, and fan air flows into four thrust vectoring nozzles.If the nozzle is tilted at an Angle, the plane can fly horizontally. Adjusting the nozzle direction can provide thrust for hovering and maneuvering.In addition, the cabin layout of the aircraft is similar to that of the medium-range dual-engine civil helicopter, with one pilot sitting on the top of the aircraft, the cabin door on the front of the fuselage, the rear of the fuselage with two rows of three passenger seats each, the rear ramp of the aircraft is used for placing passenger goods/cargo.
  The full-size model is scheduled to be displayed at the 2019 air show in Friedrichshafen, Germany, in April.
